Baptism

Honoring Veterans

We will honor veterans from VFW Post 402 at the 10:00 AM Mass this Sunday. After Mass, a cookie reception will be held in Healy Hall in their honor. Please come by to extend your gracious welcome to our veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.

 

Tina Kokel Memorial Golf Outing

Event Information: The Tina Kokel Memorial Golf Outing will take place on Monday, May 21 at Montour Heights Country Club. Golf and Dinner Package includes green fees, driving range, dinner, silent auction/basket raffle, deli lunch, cart, skill prizes. Proceeds benefit tuition to Catholic schools for children in need. Items Wanted: The Tina Kokel Memorial Golf Committee is collecting donations for their Basket Raffle and Silent Auction. Items may range from a single item to a fully completed basket, or a single item for the Silent Auction. We are also interested in sports memorabilia, event tickets and attraction passes for auction. Pentecost

Next week is the Feast of Pentecost which marks the end of the Easter Season. In honor of the Holy Spirit parishioners are asked to wear red to Mass next week. May our hearts be aflame with the fire of the Holy Spirit!

We are looking for people to read in different languages for Masses on May 26 and 27 for the Feast of Pentecost. If you are able to read in a language other than English, please contact Ginny Ambrose at the rectory.

 

High School Baccalaureate Mass

On Sunday, May 27 at the Noon Mass, all high school graduates of St. Joseph Parish will be honored with a special blessing followed by a luncheon in Healy Hall. Invitations will be sent in the mail to those seniors who are registered at the Parish Office. If your child is not registered, or you are not sure if he/she is registered, please contact the rectory. We don’t want to miss any of our graduates!

 

Knight at the Races

On Saturday, June 2, the Knights of Columbus #2555 Annual Knight at the Races will be held in the St. Joseph School Cafeteria. $10 ticket includes food and beverage. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Hope to see you there! Call (412) 264-6162 for more information.
