Music Ministries

St. Joseph Music Ministry is comprised of four choirs, cantor program, and instrumentalists. New members are welcome in all groups to help lead St. Joseph Parish in sung prayer. For more information, please contact Ginny Ambrose in the rectory.

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir rehearses at 7:00 PM on Thursdays and sings at the 10:00 AM Mass, holy days, and feast days from September to Pentecost.

Contemporary Group

The Contemporary Group rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM and plays and sings at 12:00 Noon Mass from September to Pentecost.

Funeral Choir

The Funeral Choir sings at all funerals and rehearses 15 minutes before the funeral Mass.

St. Joseph Cherub Choir

The Cherub Choir is a choir for children in grades 3-6. This choir will sing for special events as well as Christmas, Easter and First Communion. Members will receive a practice CD to learn the music at home. We will practice each time we sing. If your child is interested in joining, please contact Ginny.

Youth Ministry Choir

All teens and young adults in grades 8 through college are invited to join our Youth Ministry Choir. The Choir rehearses every other month on Saturday at 2:30 PM and sings at the 4:00 PM Mass that same day. Any teens and young adults who play instruments are also invited!

Cantors

Cantors lead the congregation in song and are scheduled on a rotating basis all year. Auditions are required.
