Sacramental Preparation

The Director of Religious Education coordinates the preparation for the sacraments of First Penance, First Communion, and Confirmation for children in the Catholic School and the CCD program. Diocesan guidelines are followed to prepare second graders for their First Penance and First Communion. Confirmation at St. Joseph Parish is done every two years (in uneven years). Candidates are in the 8th or 9th grade.
